Original Kitchen
The home owner was tired of the old white cabinets and the stone counter tops. with tile backspash. She also desperately need to increase the storage space. It was very limited since the top cabinets didn't go all the way to the ceiling and the bottom cabinets were not very functional. She wanted a dramatic new look to make the kitchen look for modern. We worked with here to maximize the space and looked at many options for the finish to find the one she liked.
Kitchen After Transformation
She decided on a beautiful semi-transparent black finish for the cabinets with black handles and door pulls. These are semi custom and built specifically for this kitchen layout. The cabinets now go all the way to the ceiling and they are wider on either side of the sink for added storage. Also went with a single bowl sink for more room to work.
New Kitchen- Range Side
Lots of great upgrades in this new kitchen. She went with a quartz solid surface counter top with matching quartz solid backsplash. Also upgrade all outlets from 2 to 4 plugs. The cabinets are all soft close and the bottom cabinets have double soft close sliding shelves. Everything you could want in a kitchen.
Original Walk-in Shower
While this shower was under 15 years old the tile was starting to get deposits and the base was starting to look old and gray. They didn't know it but there was also leaking in the wall by the seat and we found a both water supply lines were very corroded and could leak at anytime..
Walk-in Shower After
Here is the new shower in the beautiful stone look finish or Azure Bay. With this type of project the we use a custom solid base that is ADA certified and matches the shower wall. The shower controls are the Delta Lahara Montor with separate temperature and pressure controls.

New shower- Custom Glass Door
The new shower also has 2 stainless grab bars and corner shelf. We removed the seat for more space but could have added a matching permanent seat or teak and stainless fold up shower seat. We used a custom 1/4 glass door to give full width access in and out of the shower. Installed trim around the top and edges to give a beautiful, better than when the house was new look
Original Tub and Surround
This client was moving into a new home and wanted some updating to the bathrooms. They wanted this converted to a walk-in shower for their kids to use. Also wanted to change from the dark look to a brighter and more modern look. We also replaced the floor with tile to match the new shower walls. We searched multiple providers and brought them all the samples to make their lives easier. All part of the service from MHS.
New Walk-in Shower
This shower is done in Calcutta White for a beautiful marble look. We installed a matching, nonslip, ADA shower base to bring it all together and give them a long lasting, leak proof shower. The sliding glass door is premium 3/8 (10mm) coated glass for ease of cleaning and a safe, and modern look. We matched the bathroom faucets with rubbed oil bronze door hardware to bring it all together.
Shower Control and Shower Head
We are always working to give you exactly what you want for your project. The homeowner wanted a rain head and shower wand that matched the oil rubbed bronze. We searched through many options to find one that matched what they wanted as well as was a good value. For the shower control they went with the Dryden model Monitor 17 with separate pressure and temperature. This is also in Oil Rubbed Bronze.
